Femme Fit 2013 Movement Standards

Here is a video going over the movement standards for Femme Fit 2013.  There will be NO athlete briefing on the day of the event.  Please ask questions now, we want all athletes well prepared and at their best on August 10th.

  1. Can a snatch be "snatch-deadlifted" and then lowered to perform a hang snatch (power/full/etc)?

  2. No. All lifts, snatch and clean & jerk, must start from the ground.

    1) can you go down in weight on the olympic total if you miss?
    2)does the womens bar count as 33 or 35 pounds for the total and the thrusters?
    3)can we wear headphones during the run?

    Yes, you can move your weight in the Olympic total up or down.

    33 pounds! We will also have plenty of 1 pound plates on hand.

  6. During the thruster do the feet have to stay in the same spot for the rep to count? Can the push press part of the thruster be almost like a jerk?
